The Owens family had several events in 2001, including a family reunion in Florida. In 2008 there was a fabulous family reunion in Jamaica, where we were not only introduced to our parents and grandparents' birthplace, but visited key landmarks, like  - the Jackson school and Jackson church, cooked by Broadstone river, walked in the river, and met new family members. The London Olympics trip in 2012, not only allowed us the opportunity to reconnect with our family members across the pond, but meet Olympic sports folks in London. We created beautiful memories and great experiences which were inspirational and magical moments for all of our family members.
